The Geneva Miller Historical Society (GMHS) researches and documents life in Haywood County, TN.  The Society's central focus is Haywood County African American life.

The Geneva Miller Historical Society is named for Ms. Geneva Miller, a long-time teacher at Haywood County Training/Carver High School who emphasized the importance of sound scholarship and historical study.  Ms. Miller's steadfastness and dedication to excellence earned everlasting respect and deep admiration from the many students she taught, their parents, and her colleagues.
